Theaters in Istanbul

Istanbul is a lively city and a popular event destination, with some of the world's finest major entertainment and event sites. Zorlu Performing Arts Center

The Zorlu Performing Arts Center (PSM), located in the Zincirlikuyu area of the Besiktas district, is one of the city's most prominent cultural and art centers, as well as the city's number one venue for hosting the greatest names in music. Within its 7 venues, the facility offers a range of performing arts events and concerts. Every day, the facility holds approximately three different events.

Istanbul's Sureyya Opera House

The Sureyya Opera House, which is located in the Kadikoy neighborhood on Istanbul's Asian side, was built by Sureyya Ilmen Pasa in 1927 as an opera, theater, and ballroom, but it was also utilized as a movie hall for many years. Sureyya Opera House was restored to its former state in 2007, and it is now the first opera house on Istanbul's Asian side and the sixth in Turkey. The façade of the building, which features the Muses' desires and masks of art, tragedy and comedy, as well as the extremely beautiful interior, is highly appealing. By the structure, there is also a marble sculpture called Vodvil.

Santrall Istanbul

SantralIstanbul, located at the upper end of the Golden Horn in the Eyup district, is a cultural event site created via the preservation and restoration of an ancient Bulgarian power plant built in 1911. It is Turkey's first industrial archaeology museum. It houses modern art exhibits and cultural events and includes an energy museum, an amphitheater, music halls, and a public library. Caddebostan Culture Center

The Caddebostan Culture Center (CKM), located on Istanbul's Asian Side's Kadikoy neighborhood, offers a wide range of activities, including plays, jazz and classical music performances, film screenings, art exhibits, and panels with national and international artists, among others. Eight movie theaters, a bookstore, a café, a gym, a boutique art library, an art gallery, two foyer exhibition spaces, and two multipurpose halls make up the facility.

Harbiye Muhsin Ertugrul Scene

The Harbiye Muhsin Ertugrul Stage, which dates back to 1964 and is situated in the Harbiye area in Sisli district, has long been one of the city's most unique theatrical stages. The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality owns it, and the City Theaters (Sehir Tiyatrolari) section manages it. The stage is named after Muhsin Ertugrul, a well-known Turkish actor, producer, and director.

Grand Pera Emek Theater

The Emek Move Theater, which used to be situated on Istiklal Street, Taksim, in the Beyoglu neighborhood, is now part of the Grand Pera complex on Istiklal Street. The ancient cinema theater, which was built in 1884 and had Art Nouveau angel figurines on the screen, was one of the city's oldest.

Haldun Taner Theater in Istanbul

The Haldun Taner Stage, which dates from 1989 and is situated in the Kadikoy neighborhood on Istanbul's Asian side, is another important theatrical stage in the city. The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality owns it, and the City Theaters (Sehir Tiyatrolari) section manages it. The stage is named after the well-known Turkish dramatist Haldun Taner.
