Thanks to Akmerkez, one of the largest shopping centers of the town, Nispetiye Caddesi is one of the most famous streets in Istanbul. Akmerkez is a quadruple mall with more than 250 shops spread over 180,000 square metres, situated in the district of Etiler, in the district of Beşiktaş in Istanbul. Local retailers, chain stores and other department stores such as Beymen, Vakko, Mavi Jeans have a strong shopping experience, alongside some of the world's biggest brands.
Bagdat Street
The Asian side of Istanbul may be recognized as the quietest and suburban sister of Europe, but you definitely have plenty of shops to board the ferry. BAğdat Caddesi has plenty for any budget – businesses, from Burberry to Marks & Spencer, on this side of the main shopping lane in Istanbul. On weekends, people walk or stop at one of the many cafés on the road. The lane is packed with people. It is also an advantage that the seaside is just a few blocks away and when you are shopping, you can still take a walk by the sea. Bağdat Caddesi is one of the best shopping spots in Istanbul, lined with shopping malls, elegant luxurious boutiques and leading foreign brands. It is a perfect way to spend a day stretching 14km from the Anatolian side of Istanbul.
