Explore Miniaturk in Istanbul!

Open-air museum Miniaturk exhibits miniature replicas of Turkey's most renowned historical and architectural landmarks. Miniature Turkey Museum is another name for it and is a wonderful place to visit if you want to take a fun tour through Turkey. The 60,000-square-meter park is located at the northernmost tip of Golden Horn's northern coast. Aside from Istanbul Crystal Museum, there is also a Panorama Victory Museum within the museum.Â

The Theme Park Miniaturk

President Recep Tayyip Erdoan inaugurated MiniatÃ¼rk on May 2, 2003, bringing together the rich architectural legacy of the civilizations that governed and left their imprints on this historic country, from the ancient periods through Rome, Byzantine, and Ottoman Empire.Â

This little version of Turkey has been dubbed "A Small Model of a Big Country."Â

We selected from among hundreds of architectural works 135 models, which included 62 from Istanbul and Anatolia as well as 13 from Ottoman areas outside of Turkey. 1/25 scale is used for all of the models. In fact, miniaturk isn't only for the Turks or their cultures. You may learn about the Anatolian way of life by reading this book. In this park, which extends back three thousand years to the Golden Horn, you'll find the remains of civilisations ruled by peace, tolerance, and justice.Â

On the one hand, the caravanserai and social complexes, madrasas and bridges, stations and piers, castles and city walls, tombs and mosques and churches and synagogues, palaces and mansions, obelisks and monuments, and sculptures were carefully selected by an experienced team. Artemis Temple and Halicarnassus Mausoleum, two of the ancient world's seven wonders, are also on display. Everything in Miniaturk is so distinctive that it makes you feel like you're traveling the country from east to west, north to south, all at the same time. As with everything else, it isn't a substitute for really seeing the works, but apart from wanting to see the real ones, it is a joy to see them in this light.Â

Sixty thousand square meters is the entire area of MiniatÃ¼rk. The 15,000 square-meter area where the models are located, as well as a restaurant, cafeteria, gift shop, exhibition hall, outdoor show area, children's playground, ferryboat, remote-controlled boat, train, tale tree, and a mini stadium with flies, has been carefully designed to ensure visitors have a quality experience while having fun in Miniaturk.Â

An attractive park, MiniatÃ¼rk is also an educational and social responsibility project that draws power and beauty from Turkey's ancient civilisation. Future generations will learn about their civilization's ancient beginnings by studying Miniaturk at school.Â

For both residents and tourists alike, Miniaturk is a famous tourist attraction in Istanbul. It's a great option for anybody seeking for a spectacular and quick trip across Turkey. On the surface, it's a kind of Turkey's Showcase.Â

How To Visit Minaturk

Beyoglu district's Sutluce neighborhood is home to the Miniaturk. Istanbul Dolphinarium is located on the opposite side of the water. As you go from Uskudar to Eyup, get out at the Sutluce pier. Finally, because Miniaturk is situated far from the city's major tourist attractions, most tourists find public transit difficult.
