Romantic Restaurants in Istanbul
Because the Bosphorus is a world-famous river, Istanbul boasts a lot of excellent eateries throughout its length. Your mouth will wet even before you step foot in these places because of the variety of dishes available! Be sure to keep reading to learn about some of our favorite Bosphorus restaurants in Istanbul!
The Bosphorus is visible from numerous restaurants in Istanbul, although they are not necessarily located near the sea. In addition to having a spectacular view of the Bosphorus, several of the restaurants on our list are located directly on the sea, so you can hear the waves.
In every restaurant on the Bosphorus, you may choose from a wide variety of dishes, including contemporary Turkish cuisine and foreign cuisine! Whatever your preferences, you're likely to discover something new or pleasantly familiar around every corner, thanks to the convergence of cuisines from both sides of this amazing nation. A sushi bar, trendy meze and traditional Turkish and Ottoman food may be found at Istanbul's Bosphorus restaurants.
Banyan Restaurant
One of the finest Bosphorus restaurants in Istanbul, Banyan offers a unique mix of Thai and Chinese cuisine. One side of the open-air terrace overlooks the lake, the other is dominated by a spectacular fireplace constructed especially for wintertime festivities. You'll love the cuisine, and the decor will make you feel like you're in a palace. While the waitstaff is attentive, they are not intrusive, and each dish they bring out is a piece of beauty in itself. For supper, I suggest the 8 spice and Szechuan orange beef paired with rice cake, which is one of my personal favorites from the menu.
Soho House
Located in a 19th-century palazzo, Soho House Istanbul is a Members' Club with accommodations in an adjacent glass structure and annexe. With A Cecconi's Restaurant, the home is a place for dining, drinking, and socializing. All 87 rooms, including 17 mezzanine rooms and one apartment, are of varying size. For working out or relaxing, this facility includes a spa, a hammam, a gym, and studios. It's located in Beyoglu, a popular tourist destination in Istanbul. This strategic position enables visitors to quickly explore the beauty that surrounds them in a short amount of time.
Chilai Restaurant
A visit to the Chilai restaurant is not something you do every day. You can spend quality time with friends over drinks by day or dinner in an atmospheric evening atmosphere at night while enjoying spectacular views of one side of Istanbul across the Bosphorus Strait on the other side. The restaurant has an eclectic menu, a modern aesthetic design, and live jazz music. It's hard to believe that Chilai has so much to offer, with Hagia Sophia view! As well as excellent cuisine and high-end wines, Chilai provides amazing drinks that will have you buzzing till the wee hours of the morning.
Tugra Restaurant
This award-winning restaurant is located on the first floor of an Ottoman palace that was constructed in 1871 and overlooks one of Istanbul's most beautiful vistas. The restaurant's name comes from an Ottoman seal called tura. This ring was worn exclusively on ceremonial occasions, such as state visits or coronations, to signify authority. To communicate a feeling of formality, dishes are served on plates fashioned after this emblem. It's not only for special occasions, like when sultans wore their rings!
