Ataşehir Istanbul

Metropol Istanbul Tower 1 (70 stories, 301 meters tall with its twin spires) is the tallest skyscraper in Ataşehir, Istanbul, and Turkey as of 2020. It is a mixed-use building with three buildings and a shopping center in Istanbul.

Ataşehir district is the result of a project to build a satellite town. The project began in 1993, and by 2005, Ataşehir had established itself as a desirable business zone for building societies such as Ağaoğlu, which had made significant investments in the region. Ataşehir became a new and upscale town as a result of this shift in size. Most people may believe that Ataşehir is an ideal place to live in Istanbul, and they may be right, but don't forget about the traffic congestion created by bad infrastructure planning. Buses and dolmush (dolmuş) buses are the only modes of public transit available. There are currently no subway lines that run directly through the city. If further funding and new ventures are planned to improve the north-eastern Ataşehir area, this will continue to be a major issue.
