Taksim Training and Research Hospital

Taksim Egitim ve Arastirma Hospital, formerly known as Taksim First Aid Hospital among the people, is located in the Taksim Beyoğlu district of Istanbul. It is a training and research hospital affiliated with the Ministry of Health. The new hospital building, which was built by demolishing the old buildings of Taksim Hospital on Sıraselviler Street in Taksim, was put into service in 1969. It has 2 outbuildings. One’s name is Gumussuyu Additional Service Building and the other’s name is Kasımpasa Additional Service Building.

Gaziosmanpasa Training and Research Hospital

The name of the hospital was changed from Taksim Hospital to TaksimTraining and Research Hospital in 1986 by increasing the number of training clinics. And then the hospital moved to the Gaziosmanpaşa building on 13 September 2013 under the name of GOP Taksim (Initial Aid) Training and Research Hospital for the renovation process of the building in Taksim. Later, the Main Hospital Building in Karayolları Mahallesi started to provide outpatient services as of 24/12/2018.

Acıbadem Taksim Hospital, the 18th hospital of Acıbadem Healthcare Group, was put into service in October 2015. Acıbadem Taksim, which is positioned as a general-purpose hospital, has a closed area of approximately 24 thousand square meters. The General Intensive Care Unit has 10 beds, 2 of which are insulated, while the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit has 7 beds, 1 of which is insulated. In a meeting held at Kirkor Kılıçyan's house in Galata on February 8, 1831, the necessity of establishing a hospital in addition to the construction of a church needed for the Armenian Catholic community was discussed and it was decided to open it.
