Istanbul Sport Stadiums
Istanbul presents a wide range of fantastic events all year round. The game of football is huge in Turkish culture. Istanbul therefore has 7 stadiums. Istanbul is able to hold sporting events all year round because to its abundance of venues. Let's now look at Istanbul's top stadiums, where you can catch the most exciting sporting events and musical performances.
Turk Telekom Arena
On the western bank of the Bosphorus, in the Sariyer neighborhood, is where you can find Türk Telekom. Given that Galatasaray SK is the most prosperous team in Turkey, guided stadium tours are often held. Sessions are available from Tuesday through Sunday at different times throughout the day. Visitors are also welcome in the locker rooms, VIP boxes, and trophy rooms, which house the UEFA Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and any other domestic awards.
Ataturk Olympic Stadium
Turkey's biggest sports arena is the Ataturk Stadium, which can accommodate more than 76,000 spectators. The stadium is named after Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the first Turkish President, and was constructed in the 1990s as a component of a failed Olympics bid. It is conveniently located in the Ikitelli area in Istanbul's far west, around 30 minutes from the tourist zone. You may travel to the Atatürk Olympic Stadium by taking the subway to Olympiyat Station.
The seats are fairly distant from the field since this is a multipurpose venue with an athletic course, yet from any stand, it means amazing views. With its extra levels and cover that creates less than ideal circumstances, the West Stand is hard to surpass for atmosphere.
Sukru Saracoglu Stadium
Sukru Saracoglu Stadium is the renowned home of Fenerbahçe, the most well-known and successful club on the Asian side of the Bosporus. The 50,000-seat stadium is backed by its fans, especially while playing in the UEFA Champions League or when playing against nearby rivals Galatasaray.
The North Stand is now allocated for away supporters, while the West Stand is often used by Fenerbahçe's most loud fans. The largest portion of the stadium, the cabin and dressing rooms, are slightly above the latter. You may get to Sukru Saracoglu stadium by taking the metro to Sogutlucesme station.
