From his early figurative paintings to his wall-inspired works and portraits, this mini-retrospective shows Dogancay's artistic development over five decades. Adil Dogancay's work is on exhibit at one of the museum's venues in Istanbul.

In collaboration with the Istanbul Municipality and business sponsors, the Dogancay Museum has organized and presented a judged elementary school art competition since 2005. The Dogancay Museum in Istanbul is dedicated to continue their yearly children's competition. This competition's goal is to promote art-based education.

Istanbul Modern

In 2004, Turkey's first museum of modern and contemporary art, Istanbul Modern, opened.
