Since 2004, MSA, The Culinary Arts Academy of Istanbul has been delivering Professional Chef’s Professional Pastry & Bakery, Professional Food & Beverage Management, Professional Barista, Bartending and Mixology education programs. In the restaurant of MSA, students currently studying professional programs work both in the kitchen and in the service, completing their internship within a real restaurant experience.
In other words, in this kitchen, our instructor chefs are teamed with their students; the brilliant chefs of the future. The restaurant menu is in line with the curriculum of the school, having both local classics from the Turkish kitchen, including foods inspired from Istanbul street food, and popular foods from across the globe, all-time favorites from the MSA kitchen, much loved by our staff and our students.
Our instructor chefs and students present these ever popular dishes and drinks with a personal touch in an unmatched atmosphere the museum guests and to all food lovers.
We care about seasonality, locality and regional specialties; We focus on our own food culture, but also embrace world cuisines with utmost respect and take care to apply them as authentic as possible and true to originals; We supply our food from good practice agricultural establishments and support artisanal small producers; We follow the nature of the ingredient, and treat the food with the respect it desires; We support the development of our fellow students and encourage their achievements; We save edible surplus of food in our kitchens, and find ways to recirculate them; at the school cafeteria or in nearby shelters. We apply the highest international standards for food safety and quality control; We care about our customers and our students, and try to establish a mutual affection for years to last.
